Who We Are

  • Luke Bodalbhai

Luke studied history at university where his interest in the European Reformation first inspired him to collect 16th century Old Master prints. This fuelled his passion for art which resulted in Luke entering the auction world as a picture specialist. He has overseen the sale of paintings by Sir Winston Churchill and is a collector of the Victorian artist William Powell Frith. However, Old Masters remain Luke’s principal passion and his commitment to research and connoisseurship has resulted in a number of significant discoveries.

  • Luna the Whippet

Luna is a three year old blue and white whippet. Originally from Essex, she now enjoys life in the Cambridgeshire countryside where there are plenty of deer, rabbits and hare to chase, although she has never caught a thing. She's also a fan of lie-ins (preferably in a human bed) and her favourite artist is Michele Pace del Campidoglio (1625-1669) who she thinks has a very appropriate name for a sighthound painter!

  • Eleanor Herring

Eleanor undertook an undergraduate degree in silversmithing before being formally trained as a picture restorer at the London School of Picture and Frame Restoration. She has worked in various roles in the design and hospitality industries and also has her own freelance business as a decorative painter, calligrapher and illustrator. She oversees the restoration of pictures for the gallery as well as all areas of marketing and design.
